Our department purchased Burny in 2018 and love it. He is made of high quality materials, actual bunker gear jacket material. The design is such that you stay cool, even in the heat of the summer. The suit is not heavy and comes apart easily to wash or air dry. The fan in the head is wonderful. We have borrowed a Sparky mascot in the past and the quality is not close to that of Burny. Even his boots are comfortable. Most importantly, the kids absolutely love him. They ask for him now when we don't take him to events, like he is one of the firefighters that should be there. I highly recommend for a mascot if you are looking. Very reasonably priced too!!
